About Crispy rice cigar's Recipe

Its really yummy and tasty snacks made with leftover masala baath and plain rice.

Crispy rice cigar's

Ingredients to make Crispy rice cigar's

  • 1 cup plain rice
  • 1 cup masala baath / pulao / kicchadi
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic crushed
  • mirchi powder as needed
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup Grated Cheese
  • Chopped coriander / pudhina
  • salt for taste
  • For frying:
  • Bread crumbs 1 cup
  • oil for shallow frying

How to make Crispy rice cigar's

  1. Mash the rice and masala bhath with potato masher.
  2. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
  3. Apply a little oil on your hands and take lemon size rice mix and make it into sigar shape/ tikki shape.
  4. Roll it in the bread crumbs.
  5. Heat a nonstick pan and pour little oil and shallow fry the cigar on a medium flame till it turns crisp and nice golden colour.
  6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or pudina chutney.
