Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 potatoes
  2. Green chilli-1 finely chopped
  3. Ajwain- 1/4 tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Zeera powder -1/4 tsp
  6. Red chilly powder -1/4 tsp
  7. Coriander leaves- a handful chopped
  8. Whole wheat flour -1 cup
  9. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Take 2 potatoes in a pressure cooker, add some water and boil them. Once the potatoes are boiled (4 whistles), remove the peel and mash them.
  2. Add coriander leaves, green chillies, ajwain, other spices as desired eg:- red chilly powder, zeera powder, salt to the mashed potatoes and mix it properly.
  3. Now take whole wheat flour and prepare a dough using water . Take a small portion and make a dough ball.
  4. Next, roll a small roti and fill with a tbsp of the mashed potato filling. Gather the edges and pinch to form a ball, roll the paratha out with a rolling pin.
  5. Heat the tawa/griddle. Put both sides of the paratha on it and heat till brown spots appear, apply ghee or oil to the parantha
  6. Cook it till it turns golden on both sides . Serve hot with curd/butter or pickle
