Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Fish fillet (Betki) 500 gms
  2. Marination for the fish
  3. Garlic paste 1tsp
  4. Lemon juice 1tbsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  6. Salt
  7. Black pepper powder 1tsp
  8. Tomato Chilli sauce
  9. Tomatoes 6 big
  10. Onions 2 small
  11. Garlic 10
  12. Butter 3tbsp
  13. Dry red chillies 5
  14. Green chillies 5
  15. Capsicum 2
  16. Tomato sauce 1/2cup
  17. Sugar 2tsp
  18. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  19. Black pepper powder 1tsp
  20. Vinegar 1 tbsp
  21. Cornflour 1tbsp
  22. Coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  23. Coating of fish
  24. Eggs 2
  25. Bread 7
  26. Coriander leaves chopped 2tbsp
  27. Veggies
  28. Carrot 2
  29. Beans 150gms
  30. Cauliflower 1cup( small pieces)
  31. Butter 2tsp
  32. Sugar 1/2tsp
  33. Salt 1/2tsp
  34. Pepper 1/4tsp
  35. Herbed Rice
  36. Rice Boiled 4 cup
  37. Butter 2 tbsp
  38. Salt 1tsp
  39. Black pepper powder 1tsp
  40. Red chilli flakes 2tsp
  41. Coriander leaves chopped 4tbsp
  42. Oil for frying fish 2 cup

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish fillet with the ingredients under marination for 15 minutes
  2. For the sauce In a Wok add butter and then add chopped garlic and onions
  3. When onion slightly pink add finely chopped or pureed tomatoes
  4. In the tomato puree add black pepper powder and red chilli powder
  5. Stir fry for few minutes
  6. Add chopped dry red chillies
  7. Then add chopped green chillies
  8. Add chopped capsicum
  9. Add tomato sauce, sugar and salt
  10. Add chopped coriander leaves and cook on high heat till the sauce leaves a little oil
  11. Add 1cup water with cornflour dissolved in it and give a quick boil
  12. Add vinegar in the end and adjust the seasonings
  13. The sauce should taste sweet and a little tangy which taste good with fish
  14. Crumb the fish Whip eggs and dip the fillet in egg
  15. Grind the bread in a mixi and add chopped coriander leaves After dipping in egg coat the fish in this crumb
  16. Keep aside in refrigerator for few minutes before frying
  17. Take oil in a pan and deep fry on medium flame till golden
  18. Sauteed veggies Cut the vegetables and give a quick boil in water
  19. Heat butter in a pan and add the veggies with salt, pepper and sugar for only few minutes on high heat
  20. Herbed Rice Boil the rice and saute in butter with little pepper, salt, red chilli flakes and freshly chopped coriander leaves
  21. Put a bowl of rice in centre with sauce at the side and fried fish and veggies Serve with little mayonnaise and Enjoy
