Ingredients to make Choco banana cake with flax seed

  • 1cup All purpose flour
  • 2medium size bananas
  • 1/2cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2cup brown sugar or jaggery powder
  • 2tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp Vanilla essence
  • 1tbsp flax seed powder
  • 3tbsp water

How to make Choco banana cake with flax seed

  1. Soak flax seed powder in water and set aside. The mixture should become like a gel after some time.
  2. Preheat oven at 180degree for10mints .Grease baking pan and set aside.
  3. In a bowl sift all purpose flour baking soda baking powder and cocoa powder and combine gently.
  4. Mash over ripe bananas with a fork add vegetable OIL and mix add flax seed powder gel , brown sugar and vanilla extract mix it well.
  5. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients with the spatula do not over mix.
  6. Pour this batter in the greased pan and bake it in preheated oven for about 20-25mins or till toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool down completely on the wire rack.
  8. Remove from the pan and cut in slice and enjoy with a glass of milk or tea.

My Tip:

If you don't have brown sugar then you can use normal sugar powder.
