Flax seed Powder Chutney

Ingredients to make Flax seed Powder Chutney

  • Flax seeds 1/2 cup
  • curry leaves 1/2 cup
  • coriander seeds 4 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 4
  • peanut 3-4tbs
  • Seasame seed 2 tbs
  • cumin seed 2 tsp.
  • Black pepper 2 tsp
  • Black salt 2tsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • asafoetida 2-3 pinch

How to make Flax seed Powder Chutney

  1. First roast flax seeds in a pan on medium flame.
  2. Stir continiously and roast seeds till they begin to crackle
  3. Take them out in a plate.
  4. Roast curry leaves in low flame for 3-4minutes till they get dry .keep it in another bowl.
  5. Add coriander seeds, red chilli, cumin seeds and stir continuously.
  6. Roast till brown. mix it with flax seeds. roast peanuts then black pepper .take them out on a plate
  7. Mix all ingredients add black salt ,plain salt ,asafoetida and roasted curry leaves in mixer and grind coarsely.
  8. Store in air tight container. It can be used for a month

My Tip:

Chillies can be increased or decreased
