ABOUT Thin Crust-No Cheese "Leftover Chapati" Pizza" RECIPE

Finely chopped veggies mingled together with some leftover "Cilantro Garlic Yogurt Sauce" go directly on top of a reheated crispy leftover chapati. Enjoy as an evening snack with some fresh fruits. Easy to make; healthy to eat. Simply a leftover Bliss!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Leftover Chapatis - 2-4 nos {In Indian cooking, Chapati is a thin flatbread of unleavened whole grain wheat flour cooked on a griddle called tawa}
  2. Cilantro Garlic Yogurt Sauce - 2 tablespoons
  3. Onions - 1 small, finely chopped
  4. Tomato - 1 small, finely chopped
  5. Green Chilies - 2 nos, finely chopped
  6. Heinz Sweet Relish - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  7. Fresh Cilantro leaves - roughly chopped
  8. Black Pepper - Accordingly

Instructions

  1. Mix finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chilies, sweet relish, and Cilantro Garlic Yogurt Sauce in a small bowl. Keep aside. This is my crunchy veggie sauce.
  2. Heat a non-stick tawa(griddle) and place a leftover chapati on it. reheat from both sides for few seconds.
  3. Apply a little butter on both sides and cook on a slow flame until crisp using little pressure with a help of a muslin cloth or kitchen towel.
  4. Cut the chapatis onto halves. Top the already prepared vegetable sauce evenly.
  5. Finish it with some freshly chopped cilantro leaves and black pepper on top.
  6. You can prepare this Chapati Pizza in your conventional oven - Place the leftover chapatis topped with vegetable sauce in preheated at 425 degree F for about 2-3 minutes.
