My grandma use to make it whenever I would get a cold, a bowl filled with lots of protein, vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cups drumsticks leaves
  2. Pigeon pea seeds 6 tbsp
  3. 1 big onion chopped
  4. garlic lightly crushed 7
  5. 1tbp oil
  6. Dry red chilli 3
  7. Curry leaves 5
  8. 2tbp grated coconut
  9. salt


  1. Boil pigeon seed in little water, keep aside.
  2. In kadai heat oil add curry leaves garlic and red chillies, saute for a minute then add onion, drumsticks leaves and salt. Sprinkle 1 cup water.
  3. Cook for 7minutes then add pigeon seeds and coconut, cook further more for 5 minutes, serve with roti.
