About Besan Chilla Recipe

A crispy thin pancake made up of gram flour.

Besan Chilla

Ingredients to make Besan Chilla

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies chopped
  • Handful of coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • oil
  • a pinch of soda bi carb

How to make Besan Chilla

  1. Method: 1. Take a bowl and add the besan. Add water to get the right consistency. You should get a dropping texture.
  2. Add chopped onions, chillies and coriander leaves.
  3. Add soda and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread out a ladleful on a dry non stick pan.
  5. Drizzle some oil on the sides and roast till golden on both sides.

My Tip:

The more you spread it on the pan the thinner and crispier it will get!
