Dill leaves and Moong Dal Sabzi

Ingredients to make Dill leaves and Moong Dal Sabzi

  • moong dal 1/2 cup
  • Dill leaves, a bunch
  • tomato 1 tsp
  • Haldi/turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • green chillies 3-4
  • ginger 1/2 piece (optional)
  • salt to taste
  • oil
  • jeera/Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • garlic Cloves 5-6

How to make Dill leaves and Moong Dal Sabzi

  1. Take a vessel and boil the moong dal, tomato, ginger pieces and green chilli.
  2. Take a pan. Heat oil and add a little jeera/cumin seeds. Once it splutters, add the crushed garlic and fry it for sometime.
  3. Then add the boiled contents, salt and mix it well.
  4. Lastly add the washed and chopped dill leaves and mix it well together.
  5. Serve it hot with rotis.
