Mutton Shaami Kabab

Ingredients to make Mutton Shaami Kabab

  • Mutton 500 gms
  • chana dal 75 gms
  • garlic 2 pods
  • Kashmiri chilli powder 2 tbsp
  • Haldi or turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • cinnamon 1 stick
  • cloves 4-5
  • Cardamon 3-4
  • onion 2 chopped
  • mint leaves 1
  • coriander 2 sprigs chopped
  • Green chilli as per taste
  • egg 1
  • lime juice 1 tbsp

How to make Mutton Shaami Kabab

  1. Cook the meat with chana dal, garlic, chilli powder, haldi, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom in a pressure cooker. Add water and salt as needed.
  2. After 1 whistle simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Cool and grind cooked meat in a grinder.
  4. Add the onion, green chilli and mint leaves into this.
  5. Add a beaten egg into it.
  6. Shallow fry the kababs in oil or ghee.

My Tip:

Kababs tastes best when fried in ghee.
