Ingredients to make Whole wheat garlic masala bread sticks

  • whole wheat flour 1/2 cup
  • all purpose flour 1/2 cup
  • oil 1 tbsp
  • yeast 1/2 tsp
  • salt 1/4 tsp
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • garlic minced 1 tsp
  • Schezwan sauce 1 tbsp
  • garlic powder for sprinkling 1 tbsp
  • water to knead a dough

How to make Whole wheat garlic masala bread sticks

  1. Mix yeast and sugar in Luke warm water for 5-6 minutes
  2. Mix wheat flour,all purpose flour,salt,oregano garlic and oil nicely
  3. Add in activated yeast and water to knead a dough
  4. Keep the dough in a greased bowl covered with wet towel at warm place for an hour
  5. Now again knead the dough ,then roll it on the surface and spread schezwan sauce
  6. With pizza cutter make 1 cm thick slices (can cut thick or thin slices,thin will become crispy and thick will be soft)
  7. Now take a slice and fold it in half ,then twist them and place on greased baking tray
  8. Repeat it with all slices
  9. When all slices are placed in tray , then sprinkle garlic powder over them
  10. Bake in preheated oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes

My Tip:

Spray some oil on them and bake for another ten minutes if want crispy bread sticks
