About Fried Fish Recipe

Fish dipped with a spiced batter fried in a shallow frying pan. Best served with chips.

Fried Fish

Ingredients to make Fried Fish

  • 1/2 kg Fish pices
  • 1/2 cup Plain flour (maida)
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp Redchilli powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • oil
  • Breadcrumbs for coating

How to make Fried Fish

  1. Rub salt all over the fish pieces and leave for 10-15 mins.
  2. Mix the flour, cornstarch, red chilli powder in a bowl.
  3. Dust the fish pieces with this mixture.
  4. Now add some water to make a batter.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip the fish pieces in the batter, then coat with the breadcrumbs and fry them.
  6. Fry until they become golden brown on all sides.
  7. Remove from heat and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  8. Serve with chips.
