Ingredients to make Soup with a Maharashtrian twist

  • water 800ml
  • oil 1tsp
  • salt 1 1/2 tsp,
  • black pepper powder1/4 tsp
  • Chopped veggies like, tomatoes 2, lauki, 1/4cup, red pumpkin, 1/4 cup, french beans 3 to 4,
  • Fresh coriander chopped
  • garlic crushed 2 pearls
  • Maharashtrian thalipeeth flour 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp

How to make Soup with a Maharashtrian twist

  1. Boil water add 1tsp oil, add one slit red chilly whole,
  2. Add chopped veggies.
  3. Boil for 15 minutes on medium heat
  4. Now make a smooth runny paste with water and thalipeeth flour.
  5. Add 1 tsp lemon juice
  6. Add salt and boil for 0 minutes
  7. Garnish with lots of fresh chopped coriander leaves
  8. Yummy soup with a Maharashtrian twist is ready.

My Tip:

Add tomatoes or paste of freshly chopped tomatoes. No need to seive or remove tomato seeds. Add lemon more if needed add freshly grated coconut to give authentic maharshtrian taste.
