Flax seed and Ragi Dosa

Ingredients to make Flax seed and Ragi Dosa

  • Dosa Batter-
  • rice- 5 cups.
  • urad dal - 1 cup.
  • fenugreek seeds - 4 tsp.
  • salt as required.
  • Ragi Flax seed Dosa-
  • Dosa batter-2 cups.
  • Ragi powder/Finger millet powder- 1 cup.
  • Flax seeds powder - 1/4 cup.

How to make Flax seed and Ragi Dosa

  1. Wash rice and urad dal in water and soak them in water along with fenugreek for 2 hours.Then grind them to a fine paste using your food processor.Add salt and mix well.
  2. 2) Take 2 cups of batter seperatly and add ragi flour , flax seeds powder and mix well , add water if the batter looks too thick.Let the batter ferment for 5 hours.
  3. After 5 hours , heat your iron skillet and drizzle some oil .Take a ladle full of batter and spread it to a thin circle on the hot iron skillet, drizzle 2 drops of oil over the dosa.
  4. Keep the flame in low and let the dosa cook for 3 mins.
  5. When dosa turns light brown flip it and cook 1 more minute.
  6. Serve hot with your favourite side dish.
