Tricolour Tofu Pinwheels

Ingredients to make Tricolour Tofu Pinwheels

  • Bread slices 12
  • Tofu grated 1cup
  • Butter 2tbsp
  • Ingredients for green chutney
  • Coriander leaves chopped 1cup
  • Mint leaves 4tbsp
  • Green chilli 2
  • Lemon juice 2tbsp
  • Salt
  • Onion 1small
  • Ingredients for red chutney
  • Tomato 1big
  • Groundnuts 1tbsp
  • Jaggery 1tbsp
  • Red chilli powder 1tsp
  • Salt
  • Carrot chopped 2tbsp
  • Jeera1/2tsp

How to make Tricolour Tofu Pinwheels

  1. Cut the sides of bread slices and roll them keep aside
  2. Grind all the ingredients mentioned for green chutney in to a fine paste chutney ready
  3. Grind all ingredients mentioned for red chutney in to a fine paste
  4. Saute this a paste in a pan with 1 tsp of oil for 2 min red chutney is ready
  5. Mix salt and black pepper in grated tofu
  6. For making pinwheels apply some butter on one rolled bread slice then apply some green chutney over butter keep aside
  7. Apply red chutney over another bread slice keep aside
  8. On third bread slice spread grated tofu on bread slice
  9. Now place these bread slices one over the other and roll them cut from middle make 2 pieces from one roll
  10. Serve
My Tip: Can add boil mash potatoes in place of tofu
