Ingredients to make Puttu Upmav or Pulav.

  • Cooked puttu 2cups
  • onion 1 big
  • carrot 1/2 cup,chopped
  • cabbage 1 cup
  • spinach red or green 1 cup,chopped
  • garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric a pinch
  • salt
  • oil

How to make Puttu Upmav or Pulav.

  1. In a pan put 3 tbsp oil, add garlic paste, fry well.
  2. Then put onion, after frying a bit, add all - carrots & cabbage along with salt, chilli powder & turmeric. Cook till done.
  3. Then add spinach. sprinkle some water, whenever needed. When everything is cooked, add puttu. Mix well. Keep on sprinkling water . puttu will be softer. Cover and cook for 2-3 min.
  4. Serve hot.

My Tip:

You may add any veggie in this. Better take it hot.You may even add fried eggs. It will definitely add taste to it.
