Curry Spinach Daal Medley

Ingredients to make Curry Spinach Daal Medley

  • curry leaves( finely chopped)-1/2 cup
  • spinach(finely chopped)-1 cup
  • chana daal soaked-1 cup
  • Crushed ginger-1 tsp
  • oil-1 tsp
  • Rai-1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • water-1 cup
  • tomato slices.

How to make Curry Spinach Daal Medley

  1. Take a kadai. Add oil. Now add rai. Cook for two minutes. Add ginger. Cook for one minute.
  2. Add curry leaves, spinach and chana daal. Add salt and 1 cup water.
  3. Cover the kadhai. Cook for 10 minutes or till daal softens.
  4. When it is cooked let the bhaji dry completely.
  5. Garnish with tomato slices.
  6. Serve with paratha or rice.

My Tip:

It tastes good when dried fully. To enhance the taste add 1 tsp ghee while serving.
