Fried Fish

Ingredients to make Fried Fish

  • Fish 1kg. (Here i use the famous Shehri variety )
  • turmeric a tsp
  • cumin powder a tbsp
  • coriander powder a tbsp
  • chilli Powder 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • ginger garlic paste a tbsp
  • Green chilli paste a tsp
  • wheat flour a cup for coating
  • oil for deep frying.

How to make Fried Fish

  1. Marinade the fish with all the masalas and keep aside for 2 hours atleast.
  2. Deep fry with a coating of wheat flour + some salt+ some chilli powder.
  3. Serve hot with rice.
  4. Oil should be hot and maintain the flame accordingly.

My Tip:

Marination is an important part and giving it a standing time is even more important. I usually marinade a day before and fry only the next day. Keep the marinated fish in the freezer and thaw before you fry. You can even shallow fry.
