Ingredients to make Mix Vegetables Masala

  • Masalas:
  • 2 - cloves
  • 2 - elaichi
  • 1/2 inch - dalchini
  • 3 or 4 - red chilli dry
  • 1tsp - kasoori methi
  • 8 to 9 - kajus
  • 4 to 5 - black peppers
  • 1 tbsp - corriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera
  • Vegetables:
  • 100 gms - carrots
  • 100 gms - potatoes
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 - capsicum
  • For gravy:
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • onion - 1 (chopped)
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 3 - tomatoes (blended)
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp - cream
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp - coriander Leaves

How to make Mix Vegetables Masala

  1. Heat a pan & add all the masalas and roast a little and then grind it in the mixer.
  2. In a pan add a little oil and add sliced onions and sliced capsicum. Stir well and saute till capsicum are half cooked.
  3. Chop the potatoes and carrots in small batons.
  4. In a pan heat some oil and add ginger garlic paste and chopped onions and saute till light golden.
  5. Add the tomato puree, haldi and red chili powder and mix well.
  6. Once the masala thickens add potatoes, carrots and peas. Stir and saute for a minute.
  7. Then add abt 1.5 cups of water
  8. Add salt and cover the pan and cook till veggies are cooked properly
  9. Then add the masala (which was prepared first in d mixer) and sauted onions and capsicums.
  10. Stir and sim for about 3-4 minutes
  11. Then add 3 tbsp cream and garnish with coriander leaves.
