ABOUT Rice Croquettes RECIPE

A fun way to use leftover rice . These croquettes get their zing and richness from the ingredients used which are very common in any household. Econonmical and healthy as well.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Leftover rice a cup
  2. Gram flour or besan 2 to 3 tbsp
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Cumin powder a tsp
  5. Coriander powder a tsp
  6. Asafoetida a pinch
  7. Red chilli powder a tsp
  8. Dry mango powder a tsp
  9. Garam masala a tsp
  10. Coriander chopped a fistful

Instructions

  1. Make a smooth batter out of all the ingredients and deep fry them shaping into croquettes.
  2. You need to fry them on medium flame in order to let them get cooked from inside.
  3. Serve them hot with your favourite dip or sauce.
