Ingredients to make Skinny Cranberry Bliss Bars

  • For bars -
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tap baking soda
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/3 cup cranberries
  • For the frosting -
  • 225 gms cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted white chocolate
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

How to make Skinny Cranberry Bliss Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. lightly spray or grease one 9x13 inch pan
  2. In a bowl combine the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon
  3. In other bowl whisk the sugars with butter, egg white, apple sauce and vanilla until light and fluffy
  4. Whisk dry ingredients into the wet and mix well . fold in white chocolate chips and cranberries.
  5. Spread the batter onto baking tray and press using back of a measuring cup to make it even. bake for 12-15 mins
  6. For frosting, beat cream cheese and icing sugar - Assemble once the bars are cooled. spread the frosting add cranberries on top and drizzle white chocolate.
