Very interesting combination of ingredients which are easily available at home, this protein bhel is yummy avatar of starter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Roasted moong dal wadi - 1 cup
  2. 1/2 cup - teekha masala boondi
  3. Corn Boiled - 1/2 cup
  4. 3 tsp - masala sing/peanuts
  5. Sev bhujia - 4 to 5 tsp
  6. pomegranate - 3 to 4 tsp
  7. cucumbers (chopped) - 1
  8. chat masala to taste
  9. chili powder - 2 tsp
  10. To make tomato chutney:
  11. 2 - tomatoes (big & red)
  12. 5 to 6 - red whole chilies soaked in water for 10-15 minutes
  13. 1/2 tsp - chat masala
  14. 1/4 tsp black salt
  15. 1/2 tsp - hing
  16. 1 tsp - jeera/cumin
  17. 1 tsp - sesame seeds
  18. 1 tsp - butter
  19. Roasted papads to serve with
  20. Grated cheese to garnish
  21. Few Mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Grind the ingredients under tomato chutney in a food processor to make cutney.
  2. In a bowl mix above mentioned dry ingredients for bhel in a bowl. Add spices and salt.
  3. Mix nicely with a spoon. While serving add tomato chutney around 3-4 spoons or according to your taste. Mix again.
  4. Serve with roasted papad triangles. Throw in sev bhujia for an extra zing. Garnish with grated processed cheese & pomegranate and mint leaves.
  5. Dig into crunchy protein bhel.
