Ingredients to make Simba Gazar Rai

  • Simba (Indian beans) in Hindi sem ki phali - 250 gm
  • carrot - 100 gm
  • tomato - 1 medium size
  • For mustard paste -
  • mustard seed 1 tbsp
  • cumin seed 1 tsp
  • Dry red chilly - 2
  • garlic cloves 10 to 12
  • mustard oil - 2 spoon
  • Panch phoron 1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • turmeric pwdr 1 tsp
  • red chilli pwdr 1/2 tsp

How to make Simba Gazar Rai

  1. Wash & cut simba, gazar in 1/2 inch pieces.
  2. Then make mustard paste in mixer using all these ingredients.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, add some panch phoran, let them splutter. Add gazar and simba.
  4. Now add mustard paste, powder masala & salt in veggies.
  5. Mix it properly, add some water, cook it for 10 mins.
  6. When the veggies are cooked, add chopped tomatoes.
  7. Mix properly all veggies, consistency will be dry.
