Ingredients to make Caramel white chocolate palada kheer. (Payasam).

  • rice ada/poha/chivda/flattened rice 1/2 cup,125g (its available in all supermarkets.)
  • Boiling water 1/2 litre
  • sugar 100g
  • condensed milk 100g
  • white chocolate,cut into small pieces 50g
  • milk 1/2 litre
  • sugar 2tbsp
  • ghee 2tbsp
  • cashew nuts 2tbsp,
  • cardamom powder 4,ground to a powder.

How to make Caramel white chocolate palada kheer. (Payasam).

  1. Wash ada well and soak in boiling water for 20 min & strain it. (Avoid this step,if you have thin ada)
  2. In a pan put 100g of sugar & caramalize. When it s golden brown in colour,add 100g condensed milk,mix well.then add white chocolate pieces. Stir well,till the mixture is thick. This is caramel white chocolate.
  3. Boil milk.add ada,removing the water.cook for 5 min,then add 6th ingredients, sugar & condensed milk.stir well,let it boil for a few minutes.
  4. Then add caramel chocolate ,mix well,boil for another 5 min. When it s semi thick,remove from fire.
  5. In ghee, fry cashew nuts & add to the kheer,along with cardamom powder.
  6. Serve hot or cold.

My Tip:

Some ada,we get in packet will b thick & small .then we soak them in hot water. But some will b thin & a little big in size. That we can boil directly,it cooks easily.
