Ingredients to make White Princess

  • Pasta (Any Shape any kind ) - I have used Whole wheat Penne - 50gms
  • Broccolli - 100gms
  • Zucchini(Any colour) - 1/2 stick
  • Fresh parsley - 5Curls
  • Cherry tomatoes - 20gms
  • Whole Milk - 300Ml
  • Cream Cheese (Optional) - 50gms
  • Normal Cheese cube - 1nos
  • Freshly ground pepper - 1/2tbsp
  • Olive oil - 5tbsp
  • Garlic pods - 7nos
  • All purpose flour or Maida - 3Tbsp
  • Butter - 4Tbsp
  • Salt

How to make White Princess

  1. Cut Broccoli into bit sized florets, Chop Zucchini into Half moon Shapes. Finely Chop Parsley and Garlic. Boil Pasta in Water (Salty enough) for 11-15min.
  2. For the Sauce : Heat pan and add butter within it melts completely add maida and keep stirring untill the butter flour mixture releases a nutty flavour and is golden brown pasty colour. Now add the whole milk and keep stirring continuously.
  3. Stir until the milk is reducing to a saucy consistency and add Creamcheese/Grated cheese at the stage. Stir until the cheese melts and add salt and pepper to taste when about to switch off.
  4. Take another pan add olive oil and add the vegetables and garlic except Tomatoes . The vegetables i have taken cook quick enough . Grill the halved tomatoes separately. now add in cooked pasta to the kadai and add in the white sauce,tomato
  5. Add chilli flakes,Parsley and oregano as per the taste. Adjust consistency by adding he pasta water.
  6. Serve with butter toasted Garlic bread

My Tip:

I add Basil leaves for taste enhancement in my sauce.
