Ingredients to make Bharvan (stuffed)tomatoes in gravy

  • tomatoes (medium) -7
  • onion 5 (big)
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • chilli Powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Dried mango powder 3/4 tsp
  • cumin Powder 1/2 Tsp
  • coriander leaves
  • salt

How to make Bharvan (stuffed)tomatoes in gravy

  1. Wash and scoop tomatoes and keep them aside.
  2. For Stuffing put oli in a pan and add chopped onions to it.
  3. When onion gets transparent put ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder, chilli powder , coriander powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder and salt to it .Saute till masala leaves oil.
  4. Now fill masala to the tomatoes and keep in microwave for 7 minutes.
  5. For gravy put oil in another pan. Add onion, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, tomato, coriander leaves and salt Add required amount of water.
  6. Give a boil and add stuffed tomatoes to it. Cover the lid and cook for few minutes. So that gravy mix properly .
