Ingredients to make Fish cutlet

  • King fish - 250 grams
  • Boiled potatoes - 2 medium size
  • onion - 1 medium size
  • Green chilies - 2 no.
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder- 1 tablespoon
  • turmeric- pinch
  • ginger & garlic paste 1/2 tablespoon
  • jeera powder - 1/4 tablespoon
  • Garam masla powder- 1/4 tablespoon
  • coriander powder- 1/4 tablespoon
  • egg - 1
  • Bread powder - 1/2 cup
  • oil for deep fry
  • coriander

How to make Fish cutlet

  1. Firstly boil the fish and remove the skin and bones
  2. Mash the fish and boiled potatoes
  3. In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil and fry the chopped onions for 3mins
  4. In a bowl add the salt , chilli powder , ginger & garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, jerra powder, garam masala powder, finely chopped green chillies, fried onions and mix them well
  5. And add the mashed fish and potatoes to the mixture and add finely chopped coriander.
  6. Heat the oil
  7. Mix them well and make the mixture into desired shape
  8. Now beat the egg in a bowl and take the bread powder in a plate ..
  9. Now dip the shaped cutlet in the egg and roll them in the bread powder
  10. Now deep fry the cutlets in the hot oil
  11. After frying the cutlets garnish with coriander and tomato sauce

My Tip:

*For healthy options we can bake in oven or we can use air fryer. * we can add green peas according to your taste. *we can fry on a pan instead to deep frying
