Crispy Fish Fingers

Ingredients to make Crispy Fish Fingers

  • Fish fillet - 400 grams (Salmon/ or any fish of your choice)
  • green chilly -1
  • coriander leaves - few
  • mint leaves - few
  • ginger and garlic 1/4th tspn
  • lemon juice - little
  • salt - according to taste
  • For coating:
  • egg -1
  • Breadcrumbs - as required

How to make Crispy Fish Fingers

  1. Cut fish fillet to finger size pieces. Make a paste of coriander leaves, mint leaves, ginger, garlic and chilly. Marinate fish with the mixture. The excess marinade can be stored in the fridge in airtight container for later use.
  2. Refrigerate the fish for 30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl whisk egg till light and fluffy. Add a pinch of salt.
  4. In a wide plate spread breadcrumbs. Dip fish in egg mixture well and then coat with bread crumbs. Repeat for the rest.Heat oil and deep fry till golden brown on medium flame.
  5. Serve hot.

Spices can be adjusted to one's preference.
