Ingredients to make Crispy Peas Puri

  • wheat flour– 1 cup
  • salt as required
  • oil for frying
  • jeera- 2 tspoon
  • For the filling
  • Green peas – 1 cup
  • red chilli Powder – 2 tsp
  • coriander Powder – 2 tsp
  • cumin Powder – 1 tsp
  • turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • oil - 2tsp

How to make Crispy Peas Puri

  1. Mix the wheat Flour salt and oil in a bowl and Knead well to a puri dough consistency.
  2. Boil/pressure cook the peas and Grind/Mash the peas to a coarse paste.
  3. Heat little oil in a frying pan over medium flame, add jeera,Add the peas paste and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, cumin powder and coriander powder.
  5. Stir well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the raw smell disappears and Switch off the flame.
  6. Make small balls of the dough and in the center add some of the peas mixture and roll it out into a medium puri.
  7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.Fry the prepared puris till golden brown and make them crisp.
  8. Remove and serve with sauce if required.Easy Snacks
