Ingredients to make cabbage with fish head

  • 1 big size cabbage finely chopped
  • a big fish head..cut in pieces
  • 1 big sized tomato
  • 1/2 capsicum chopped
  • slited green chilly 2/3
  • 1 big onion chopped
  • 15 garlic cloves pasted
  • whole spices (2bay leaves,2 dried red chilly,1 tspn cumin,2cardamom, 3-4 cloves,1inch cinnamon
  • garam masala paste 2tspn( cardamom, cloves,cinnamon)
  • clarified butter/ghee 1tbspn
  • oil, salt,turmeric powder,kashmiri red chilly powder
  • spices paste( 3" ginger,10 green chillies,3tspn cumin,5-6 pepper corn

How to make cabbage with fish head

  1. clean,wash the fish head..marinated with salt and turmeric..
  2. steam the cabbage..strain the water
  3. heat oil in a pan..fry fish head well..remove..in same oil throw whole spices...fry till the aroma comes out..
  4. then add chopped onion,tomatoes till melted...now add the fried fish head..and capsicum... add the spices paste...keep frying.. add salt,turmeric, chilli powder..then add steamed cabbages.. mix it well..add sugar..cover with a lid
  5. simmer ur heat..stir occasionally...so that it couldn't stick at the bottom.. cook till all the water becomes dried up..put off gas..
  6. now add chopped coriander, garam masala paste, ghee..mix it well.. cover with a lid for few min to keep the aroma of spices to restore in the food..
  7. serve with rice or roti..

My Tip:

use slow cooking procedure to make this dish more delicious..
