Potato Lollipops

Ingredients to make Potato Lollipops

  • Bread sides for bread crumbs 2 cups
  • potatoes 3-4 medium sized
  • turmeric powder 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala 1 tablespoon
  • salt 2 tablespoon
  • Red pepper 1/2 tablespoon
  • cumin 1 tablespoon
  • maida 2 tablespoon
  • Mayonnaise 2 tablespoon
  • curd 4 tablespoon
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp

How to make Potato Lollipops

  1. First boil the potatoes and peel it. Now take a bowl and mash it. And keep it aside.
  2. Take a pan and add cumin seeds and when it crackels add boil aalu and add turmeric powder, red pepper, salt, garam masala and mix it well. Now your filling is ready.
  3. Now from that bread sides add it to mixer add grind it and make it powdered.
  4. Take a bowl, add in the maida and water to make a consistency that is not too thin nor thick.
  5. Now add half of the bread crumbs into the potato filling and mix it like your are making a dough.
  6. Now make a ball of the filling and dip it into the maida liquid, then cover it with remaining bread crumbs. Do this process repeatedly.
  7. Heat oil in a kadai and add those balls and deep fry it. Put toothpicks and put it into the dip and have it.
  8. For the dip- Add 2 tsp mayonnaise, 4 tsp curd, then add the 1/2 tsp of oregano and coriander leaves. Mix it till it gets a creamy texture.
