Ingredients to make Good Old Sugar Paratha with a Twist

  • Regular wholewheat chapati dough
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp coconut powder
  • 1 crushed green Elachi
  • 1 dry rose crushed
  • ghee
  • rose water(1 tbsp for the dough)

How to make Good Old Sugar Paratha with a Twist

  1. While making the chapati dough,add rose water to it. Make a nice dough(not very soft or tight)
  2. Take a small portion of dough roll it in a small circle and add sugar coconut powder elachi powder
  3. Fold the circle and again roll the paratha.
  4. Fry on hot griddle,applying little ghee on both the sides till golden brown.

My Tip:

I usually grind rose buds with sugar for that aromatic flavour and smell.I have used that sugar.The twist to the simple sugar paratha
