Ingredients to make Papaya barfi

  • 1 1/2 cup greated ripped papaya
  • 1 1/2 cup greated mawa
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp cloves powder
  • 1 big spoon chopped pistachios
  • 1 spoon musk Mellon seeds
  • 2 big spoon ghee

How to make Papaya barfi

  1. Heat the ghee in pan and add papaya in it .
  2. After few minutes add mawa and cook till the water is absorbed and it is completely dry.
  3. caramelise the sugar in pan and as the sugar is golden in color off the gas and put the sugar in cooked papaya .
  4. along with it add cinnamon powder, cloves powder and cardamom powder and cook it till its dry
  5. spread pistachios and Mellon seeds on it ..press it with a greased spoon and let it cool down and then put the tray in freeze for 2-3 hours. ...take out and cut it in pieces and serve...
