Ingredients to make Tomato poori

  • 1.5 cup wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup semolina
  • 1/4 cup refined flour
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • 1 table spoon oil
  • 1 table spoon kasoori methi /dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1 table spoon ginger chilli paste
  • 1 table spoon water
  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 1 /2 tea spoon carom seeds /ajwain
  • 1/2 tea spoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 garam masala

How to make Tomato poori

  1. Sieve all flours in a big bowl rub with oil add dry masala with salt add tomato puree knead well to medium soft dough add water if needed
  2. keep it for 30 mins cover with damp cloth
  3. Divide the dough in to equal 16 to 20 parts
  4. Make small balls
  5. Roll all in to small circles give each ball a shape like small chapati like puree
  6. Then fry on hot oil on medium flame

My Tip:

Rest the dough for at least 15 minutes
