Haryali Chicken Kebab

Ingredients to make Haryali Chicken Kebab

  • 1/2kg Boneless chicken
  • 1 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1 cup Mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup Methi leaves
  • 1/2 cup Spinach leaves
  • 6 Green chillies chopped
  • 8 Garlic cloves
  • 1 inch piece Ginger
  • 4 tbsp Curd
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste

How to make Haryali Chicken Kebab

  1. Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly. Rub the butter, lemon juice, red chilli powder and salt all over the pieces. Leave for 15-20 mins.
  2. Chop the methi leaves and boil them for 2-3 mins.
  3. Add the methi leaves, coriander leaves, spinach leaves, ginger, garlic and green chillies in a food processor and blend until it becomes a smooth paste.
  4. Add curd, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder to the paste.
  5. Coat the chicken pieces with the paste and leave for 30 mins.
  6. Preheat grill/oven to 175 degree. Place the chicken pieces on a grill and cook for 15-20 mins.
  7. Remove from grill when the chicken is well done.
  8. Serve hot with onions and lemon on the side.
