Easy Peasy Pulao

Ingredients to make Easy Peasy Pulao

  • Chopped vegetables 1 cup ( cauliflower,carrot,peas)
  • Chopped Onion 1
  • Rice 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Green chilly 3-4 cut into 2
  • Spice- turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Oil/ clarified butter 5 tablespoon
  • Cumin seed 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • chopped tomato 1

How to make Easy Peasy Pulao

  1. Wash and soak rice in water. Heat cooker and add 3 tabspoon oil/clarified butter to it. Splutter cumin seeds in it . Add chopped onion and green chilly and saute for 2 mi nUtes.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 -3minutes till the raw aroma vanishes.Add spice mentioned And then Mix chopped tomato and vegetable along with salt. Again saute it 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add soaked rice and saute for 2 minutes.Add remaining clarified butter to it and give it a mix.
  4. Take 2 cups water to it .let the boil come. Now close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistle. Serve it with green chutney .
My Tip: Check salt and spices after adding water.Using clarified butter gives very good taste to it.
