Elaneer Payasam

Ingredients to make Elaneer Payasam

  • Tender coconut Water - 1 cup
  • Tender coconut Flesh - 1 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Condensed milk - 1/2 cup
  • sugar - 1/4 cup
  • cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Nuts and dry grapes - 1/4 cup
  • saffron - 1 pinch

How to make Elaneer Payasam

  1. Take half of the tender coconut and the coconut water in a mixer and blend them until smooth. Keep them aside.
  2. In a pan add condensed milk, milk, sugar, heat till it comes to a boil.Keep boiling in reduced heat and cook till it is reduced to half.
  3. Switch off the stove and then add tender coconut mix, chopped tender coconut, cardamom, nuts, dry grapes and a pinch of saffron. Mix well.
  4. Keep in the refrigerator for a while before serving.
