Semiyan Payasam

Ingredients to make Semiyan Payasam

  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 4 tbsp Vermicelli
  • Dry fruits: Almonds, Cashewnuts and Pistachios
  • Sugar as per taste
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder

How to make Semiyan Payasam

  1. Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan or kadahi.
  2. Add dry fruits and roast them. Now in the same pan add vermicelli and roast them till red in colour.
  3. Add milk which has been boiled before. Boil on a low flame. Add sugar. As you see the semiya thicken turn off the flame.
  4. Garnish with roasted dry fruits.
