Ingredients to make Energy Bars With Oatmeal

  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 5-8 pistachio or more
  • 8-10 raisins (kishmish)
  • 5-6 dates (unseeded or deseed them first)
  • 10-Makhana (fox seeds/ nuts)
  • A few drops of vinegar or lime juice

How to make Energy Bars With Oatmeal

  1. Dry roast all ingredients one by one, excluding dates and raisins.
  2. Grind dates and raisins in a food processor.
  3. Start combining all ingredients.
  4. Add vinegar/lime juice.
  5. Press with hands. Avoid using a processor now.
  6. Roll out into a thick chapati and press under a thick utensil for an hour.
  7. Cut into desired vertical length.
  8. Enjoy crunchy granola bars.
My Tip: Do not run all the ingredients in the processor. We want to retain the crunch so you can enjoy munching on these beauties.
