Broccoli and Cooked rice and daal Paratha

Ingredients to make Broccoli and Cooked rice and daal Paratha

  • Broccoli 1 cup
  • spinach leaves chopped fine 1/2 cup
  • Cooked rice 1/2 cup
  • Cooked daal ( any or mixed) 1 tbsp
  • Ajwain 1/8 tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Chill powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 1 tsp
  • garlic crushed 1 tsp
  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • Ragi flour 1/2 cup
  • Oil to add in flour 1 tsp
  • oil / butter to stir fry Broccoli 1/2 tsp
  • oil for shallow frying

How to make Broccoli and Cooked rice and daal Paratha

  1. Saute Broccoli in butter. Add all masala and saute. Add Spinach.
  2. Saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Let it cool
  3. Mash cooked rice and daal. Mix with sauteed Broccoli mixture.
  4. Adjust all masala, make balls of required size. Keep aside.
  5. Make a dough of wheat flour and Ragi flour. Make a tight dough.
  6. Heat a griddle, roll chapati and stuff with Broccoli, Rice and daal mixture.
  7. Roll paratha and roast with applying oil/ butter.
  8. You can roast without oil also and than apply butter.
  9. Serve with Tomato ketchup or raita of your kids choice.

My Tip:

Daal should be dry for easy filling. You can make rice and daal in advance.
