Maggi dal khichdi

Ingredients to make Maggi dal khichdi

  • maggi noodles 2 small packets
  • moong dal, cooked 1/2 cup
  • onion , chopped 1 big
  • grated coconut 5 tbsp
  • salt
  • mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  • red chillies 3, chopped
  • curry leaves a few
  • oil 2 tbsp.

How to make Maggi dal khichdi

  1. Cook noodles as per instructions. strain it. (should not overcook).
  2. cut the noodles into small pieces.
  3. take a pan, put oil when it s hot, add mustard seeds.
  4. when it splutters add red chillies & curry leaves. Fry for a few sec.
  5. then add chopped onion. fry well
  6. then finally add noodles, cooked dal, grated coconut & enough salt. stir fry for a few min.
  7. serve hot .
