Creme Caramel

Ingredients to make Creme Caramel

  • 500ml milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 200gms sugar
  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence

How to make Creme Caramel

  1. For the caramel,cook 100gms sugar with 20ml of water,till it turns brown.Pour this mixture into a setting dish and keep aside.
  2. Whisk the eggs and sugar till mixture turns white.Add the vanilla essence and the milk.
  3. Pour the above mixture in the setting dish after the caramel has hardened. Cover the dish with a secure lid.
  4. Take a vessel,add water and put the above dish for steaming. Steam for 20-25min.
  5. Remove from the vessel and keep aside till cool. Refrigerate for 2-3Hrs before serving.
  6. Serve upside down
