Mixed greens and apple salad with maple syrup recipe is a simple and quick recipe which can be made in minutes and perfect for midweek meal.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup, mixed greens, roughly chopped (I took kale and spinach)
  2. 1 apple, diced
  3. 1 tablespoon, maple syrup
  4. 12 to 15, sliced almonds
  5. 1-1/2 teaspoon, lemon juice
  6. 1 tablespoon, olive oil
  7. 1 to 2 teaspoon, vinegar
  8. Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk together vinegar, maple syrup, a generous pinch of salt and olive oil.
  2. Toss this dressing with the mixed greens. Cover it with the plastic wrap and keep it into the fridge for at least 2 hours but not more than 8 hours.
  3. Right before serving, add apples, sliced almonds and lemon juice. Mix well.
  4. Season with the salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately
