Ingredients to make Mixed Greens and Apple Salad with Maple Syrup

  • 1 Cup, mixed greens, roughly chopped (I took kale and spinach)
  • 1 Apple, diced
  • 1 tablespoon, maple syrup
  • 12 to 15, sliced almonds
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon, lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon, olive oil
  • 1 to 2 teaspoon, vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

How to make Mixed Greens and Apple Salad with Maple Syrup

  1. Whisk together vinegar, maple syrup, a generous pinch of salt and olive oil.
  2. Toss this dressing with the mixed greens. Cover it with the plastic wrap and keep it into the fridge for atleast 2 hours but not more than 8 hours.
  3. Right before serving, add apples, sliced almonds and lemon juice. Mix well.
