Cheesy spinach khandvi

Ingredients to make Cheesy spinach khandvi

  • Gram flour 1 cup small
  • Maida 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Asafoetida(hing) a pinch
  • Ginger small piece +1 green chilly and 7-8 spinach leaves puree 2 tablespoonful
  • Buttermilk 3 small cups or 1 cup curd and 2 cups water whisked well
  • Cheese spread 2 tablespoon
  • For tempering:
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Curry leaves few

How to make Cheesy spinach khandvi

  1. Mix all ingredients in a non-stick pan except spinach puree.
  2. Cook about 4-5 min with constant stirring
  3. Add spinach- ginger- chilly puree, Cook till mixture leaves sides of pan
  4. Grease thali with oil, Spread cooked mixture (thin even layer)
  5. Let cool it then spread cheese
  6. Cut and roll .
  7. For tempering heat oil add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, sesame seeds .
  8. After seeds splutter, pour tempering on stacked khandvis.
  9. Ready to serve.
