Paneer Tikka (South Indian Style)

Ingredients to make Paneer Tikka (South Indian Style)

  • Paneer - 200 gms Cubed
  • Curry leaves - 15-20 leaves
  • Onion - 1 chopped
  • Green chillies - 2 chopped
  • Ginger - ½ inch chopped
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves chopped
  • Curd - 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Pepper powder - ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder - ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder - ¼ tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Paneer Tikka (South Indian Style)

  1. Grind the onion, chilli, ginger, garlic and curry leaves to a fine paste.
  2. Take the paste in a mixing bowl and to it add the other masala ingredients mentioned in the ingredient list and mix well.
  3. Add the paneer to the marinade.
  4. Mix well and marinate them for sometime.
  5. Heat oil in a pan.
  6. Add the marinated paneer and cook them on low-medium heat.
  7. Flip them over in between the cooking and cook for 10-15 mins.
  8. Remove and serve with any chutney of your choice
