Onion Masala Puffs

Ingredients to make Onion Masala Puffs

  • 3 - Onions (big & sliced)
  • 1tsp - Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for sauteing
  • 1 - Puff pastry sheet

How to make Onion Masala Puffs

  1. Heat enough oil, add the sliced onions and saute until they turn translucent. Add the chilly powder, salt and cook until the onions gets well cooked and turns into a masala.
  2. Keep aside and let them cool completely. Cut the puff pastry sheet as 4 large rectangles. Place enough onion masala. Fold the puff pastry sheet as pockets and press the edges with a fork.
  3. Arrange these puffs over a baking sheet and bake for 20 - 25 minutes until the crust turns golden brown. Enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.
