Ingredients to make Dal ka chilla ( leftover dal ka chilla)

  • wheat flour 100 gram
  • Leftover dal 2 cup
  • water 1 cup
  • onion 1
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • tomato Sauce 2 tbsp
  • oil

How to make Dal ka chilla ( leftover dal ka chilla)

  1. Take a bowl. Add 100 gram wheat flour, add chopped onion, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, salt as per taste and 2 tbsp tomato sauce, mix well. Add 2 cup dal and 1 cup water, mix it well.
  2. Now heat a tawa. Spread some oil on the tawa, do make sure that the tawa is hot.
  3. Gently spread the batter on the tawa to make chilla. The tawa has to be on low flame when you pour and spread the chilla batter.
  4. Let the chilla cook on a low to medium flame. When the base has cooked and become light golden then flip and cook the other side.
  5. When the second side gets light golden then remove the chilla.
  6. Serve dal ka chilla with chutney or tomato sauce.
