Ingredients to make Aparajitha Sherbet / Nam Dok Anchan

  • Aparajita Flowers / SanguPoo – 15
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Water – 2 cups
  • Lemon Juice – 1\2 Tablespoon
  • Soaked Basil Seeds – 1 Tablespoon

How to make Aparajitha Sherbet / Nam Dok Anchan

  1. Boil two cups of water in a pan and add the washed flowers, close it with lid. Switch off the stove.
  2. Allow the water to be infused with the Aparajitha extract.
  3. After 15 to 20 minutes open the lid, discard the petals..add 1 cup of sugar to the bluish extract and boil to one string consistency. Switch off
  4. Cool and add lemon juice. Aparajitha Essence is ready to use.
  5. Add ¾ parts of water to ¼ parts of the syrup, soaked basil seeds and serve chilled with ice cubes.
