Ingredients to make Gold Coins

  • Bread-1 packet
  • Moong dal+masoor dal 1 cup
  • Salt and sugar as per taste
  • haldi-a pinch
  • amchur power -1 tsp
  • Green chili-2
  • lime-1
  • garlic-3 pods
  • coriander leaves-a bunch
  • tomato Sauce

How to make Gold Coins

  1. Cut 10 bread pieces into round shapes. On top of each apply a batter of moong & masoor dal combined.Fry in batches in an inverted manner. Top it with a drop of tomato sauce and a drop of Hara Dhania chutney.
  2. Dal batter: Soak both dal in water for 3-4 hrs. Grind it in a mixie along with salt, sugar, Kashmiri red chili powder, amchur & Haldi.
  3. Dhaniya chutney: Grind Dhaniya along with salt, sugar,chpped garlic, green chilies.then add lime.

My Tip:

Fry in batches.The Dal should not be watery.
