Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Jamun fruit pulp – 1 Cup
  2. Organic palm candy – ½ Cup (Crushed)
  3. Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  4. Lemon juice – from 1\2 Lemon
  5. Water – 1 ½ Cups
  6. Black salt – A pinch

Instructions

  1. Deseed the Jamun fruit and take a cup of the fruit pulp. Grind it to a fine paste with half cup water.
  2. In a pan, add the paste, one cup water, half cup crushed Palm candy and a teaspoon of salt.
  3. Cook it on a medium flame until the sugar dissolves and it starts boiling. Switch off, cool and strain.
  4. Add lemon juice and black salt, stir well and store it in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
  5. Two tablespoons of this syrup to a 3/4th glass of chilled water or soda to serve as Sherbet or Fruit Soda.
